State of Origin - Rd 1 Review 2025 STATE OF ORIGIN - RD 1 Round 1 of the 2025 SOO match between NSW (Tweed) v QLD (Gold Coast) was played on Sunday 8 June at South Tweed Sports Club. Here are the Summary of Results: Div 1: Tweed 11 - GC 0 Div 2: Tweed 8 - GC 3 Div 3: Tweed 6 - GC 5 Div 4: Tweed 7 - GC 4 Rd 1 Result: TWEED 4 - GC 0. An overwhelming win to Tweed in all matches. Thank you	SRDRP Funding The Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program approved funding to assist with clean up after Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Severe Weather commencing March 2025 to re-establish table tennis at Molendinar. Gold Coast Table Tennis would like to acknowledge the funding allocation being jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding from the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games. Bathroom Project Completion We are please to announce that after the past few months of construction and building works, the centre bathroom renovation and upgrade is now complete. This development marks a significant step toward making table tennis on the Gold Coast more inclusive and accessible for everyone. Many thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in the organisation and planning of the project and to all table tennis partners who have supported the Club. The Club would like to say thanks and much appreciation to all personnel who worked on the installation of the new table tops.
